Make A Difference

About Us: Founded in 2011, we are 100% volunteer run and debt free.  Misty Eyes Animal Center is not a publicly funded organization. Our funds come from donations, grants and fundraisers.  Misty Eyes is a nationally recognized 501(c)3 charitable organization. Your donations are tax deductible and greatly appreciated.

Where Your Funds Go: Misty Eyes currently operates an adoption and foster care program and provides free humane education and community outreach.  For every one animal we save we turn away two, mainly due to space limitations, bringing to light the need and urgency of future buildings. These buildings will allow us to save hundreds of more animals each year.  In addition to our building fund, we are raising funds for day-to-day operations, with our biggest expense being medical care.

Monthly Donors:  We have a goal of adding 10 new monthly donors during the months of April and May.  You can learn more about becoming a monthly donor here.

Leave a Legacy:  We are currently offering naming opportunities for Kitty City and soon for Canine Country.  You can read about these options here or by emailing Renee@MistyEyes.org.

Your Funds Matter: We take great care in ensuring all of the funds we receive are used responsibly and in the manner in which our donors prefer.  Please choose to donate to the area of your choice: Animal Care, Community Outreach, Building, Most Needed or a specific animal's medical fund.
